One of Queensland’s jazz treasures, Renae Suttie, will be performing at The Presynct with The New School Jazz Trio on Thursday 20 November. The voice behind countless television and radio advertisements, including Channel 7’s “Love You Queensland”, Renae will be doing what she loves best….JAZZ!
Step back in time as they bring new life to an era of jazz when it was sung from the heart. Renae’s virtuosic scatting is reminiscent of the likes of Ella Fitzgerald and Mel Torme and the band’s mastery of their instruments takes these classic songs to greater heights.
The group will also be performing songs from their “New School Jazz” EP, along with a host of original compositions by local jazz songwriters.
